Scout Volunteers needed

All of our Leaders are volunteers, providing the sections with a varied, rewarding, and fun programme of activities. The Leaders work in teams to provide a safe, secure, and engaging environment for our young people.

The minimum time commitment for volunteering is about 4 hours per week (but you don’t have to be available every week). There are also additional opportunities to support when we have camps or other activities at weekends or over school holiday periods.

Minimum requirement of DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and training that covers safety, safeguarding, and basic first aid. All training is provided free, and most is online.

The sections:

Beavers 6-8 years old – Tuesdays 1800-1930

Cubs 8-10½ years old – Wednesdays 1800-1930

Scouts 10½-14 years old – Fridays 1830-2030

Explorers 14-18 years old – Thursdays 1900-2100
